I am finishing school now and I must choose my future job. There are many interesting professions but as for me the best one is to be a journalist. First of all, it requires plenty of contact with people. I like it a lot because I am a very sociable person and I can find a common language with anyone. Secondly, journalists make reports and write articles and I think it’s great. I always loved to make up stories and to write compositions so it won’t be difficult for me/ another advantage of this job is that journalists often meet and interview interesting and famous people, visit new places and have a meaningful and rich of impressions life. They always know new information and share it with people.
To be a good journalist I should be a well-educated and broad-minded person. So I should read a lot of books and be sure that I am good in writing. I also should know well History of Ukraine and the same about World History. I think it’s necessary to write some articles or just compositions to improve my skill. Of course, I must enter the university and study hard there.
If I want to visit different countries and to work there I should know the foreign language very well. As for my plans, I’m going to prepare seriously for entrance exams and study hard at the university. I’m also going to take up English courses to continue learning English. And I’m going to try to find a job at some local newspaper. I think it will be a good training for me. I hope I’ll have a success in such a field as journalism.
